The train station building is built of locally harvested Tamarack wood that changes color overtime, integrating the building to its rural landscape. The natural lighting for the building is obtained in a satisfying way, the beautiful spacing for the wood at the admission brings both natural light and reflecting its rural architecture of the rustic barns and the timber structures. Built along the St. Lawrence River, the simplicity of the architecture design, the relationship of the scales and the river do make the train station integrates with its nature. It is a beautiful yet natural addition to its landscape.

It is like a bear that has a cave for shelter and so is the company with its cave / office interior. This is a project of a computer firm headquarters’ office. There’s also a cardboard bench to separate a space. The wooden vortex is made of small wooden planks and are arranged in what it seems to be random arrangement. At the center, there are ceiling lamps / pendant lamps with black shades that look pretty natural.

Designed by architects Tony Owen Partners, the house features curved concrete walls. The design / shape resembles windblown sails and gives the most of the house’s characters. The house, the “Earlwood House” also features pool, floor to ceiling windows and terrace. The interior design of this home features neutral colors and simple yet elegant design. Colors like white, grey and black are dominating the interiors, the shape of anything inside these interiors are also simple with sharp angles. The living room features cobblestones for accent and the interior as a whole is quite sober.
