Both exterior and interior are designed to match its nature, the roof is created from heather zone material, making the branches as a part of the house as if they come out of the house. The centered room is integrated with the porch that is located on branches that cross, giving a feeling of being surrounded by nature. Many meetings with the original tree structures are created to be access to the house including a bridge, a rope ladder, a slide and a rear staircase that allow access to the house through a side window. Even the interior lighting from the outside through the windows has been designed to replicate the natural lighting.

The sky view and the big trees around are so relaxing as well as beautiful. In this outdoor area, the tables are the round wooden barrel table and the decorations are the glass room with cows and wooden wall. Well, there’s a dining area enclosed with glass and seems pretty romantic. Moreover, all areas, the indoor and outdoor dining areas are completed with beautiful wood floor. The social area of this modern forest house is shadowed by this third volume, this all-fresco living is connected seamlessly via the transparent walls, the temperate glass sliding panels that enclose the first floor / middle volume that make the forest visible at any time. Due to its location, the property is located at the street level, under the plot in an intimate environment, the façade does not accommodate windows, instead, a huge void was created on the roof as a lighting stretegy. The result is quite effective, the minimalist interior is quite bright and airy allthough all private areas are protected from other people’s sights. Just as its minimalist exterior counterpart, the interior is also finished in white with some color accents that come from the wood flooring and furnishing. Architect: Manuel Aires Mateus.
