Reaching the station is by climbing the wooden steps with its 2 U shaped staircases for each step. This structure probably is formed by a single wooden staircase plank made with 3 wooden supports at the ends and at the middle. This design matches and looks stunning combined with the spacing for the station’s wooden wall. Upstairs, the train station is a wonderful shelter for tourists wanting to continue the trip to the ski area over the mountains by using the cable cars. Architects: STGM Architectes. Under this roof is a studio where the serene landscape surrounding may help to inspire the artworks. There, the interior of this studio is pretty clean in white wall color and is warmth with its wooden floor. Other part of the interior still boasts similar wall color and wood floor. The balcony, which eof the 2 house additions has, features balcony with dark grey wooden balustrade. The ambiance there is relaxing and looks wonderful since the balcony faces the treetops directly. The light brown color of the wood is warmth, calming and is a great match for the theme. The long dining table comes with tabletop made from wooden planks instead of one solid wood making the table looks much more charming than ordinary. The round table comes with wooden barrel leg and looks so fascinating. This table is so unique and such accent table would looks amazing in any interior but here, there are many of such accent tables. And there, each table is completed with industrial style floor lamp in grey color with interesting upside down water bucket shape for the shade.

This modern forest house is built inside a really well preserved and protected native forest of the Atlantic Rainforest in Iporanga, on Sao Paulo’s coast, about 120km east of the Sao Paulo, Brazil. The demand by the clients for this summer house / condo is to use minimum lot / land area to build the house while at the same time, fulfilling the need of a large and comfortable house that accommodates 5 suites. The 400 + sq meters total area was divided into three floors. The common area is located on the first floor, dining, living, kitchen and the swimming pool. The first floor itself is raised above the ground floor that accommodates the enclosed service area, a deposit, laundry and the small accommodation for the house keeper couple. This modern rough stone house is one of our admired projects that has been successfully integrated itself in the site through the use of materials (materials that have been used before) and colors. The architect tried to treat the interior and exterior of this modern house as if they were a single thing. By using large glazing, there are plenty possibilities to admire the outdoors from anywhere inside the natural-looking interiors. It is also possible to feel being “inside” the landscape, the living room picture and the bedroom picture should speak themselves about living inside a landscape. The rough stone walls look so natural being inside such environment. Stone, wood and metal are constructed resembles typological archetypes used in the past, by country-men and cowboys that lived in the area.
