This gable house was built for multi-generation families by architects of BUB Architekten and is located in Germany. The gable roof is sure the most interesting part of the exterior. But it is not just a design. The home actually consists of two houses in one house. The design has a purpose for giving a separated living space while maintaining a sense of privacy. From the design point of view, the home looks beautiful with its stone and minimalist wood façade. At the exterior, the driveway in the front of this home is also interesting. It is elevated above the ground level because of the slope terrain. Inside, the interiors are done in similar fashion. They interior features stone floors and wooden walls. And, the interiors also boast the similar minimalist style and similar cream and gray color combination. The interiors are also bright thanks to the large windows. These windows also capture the views of the home’s countryside neighborhood.

One of these hutches is so wonderful. The cream dining room maybe is quite classic. The dining table and chairs come in natural brown wood color. The table is simple in design with flat rectangular shape. The chairs have vintage sculptural backrest. The chandelier also is classic in floral shape. However, the red hutch is so wonderful and would take the styling of the dining room for years to come.

The high barn style ceiling is used to create a large, tall floor to ceiling bookshelves for private library. At the top shelves, the shelves were made with V shapes creating wonderful geometric form. There, a stylish wooden ceiling fan was used to make the already airy interior more comfortable. It has stone wall that holds the fireplace. A big wooden kitchen looks more like a small cabin with an opening and counter. This is the kitchen that is located just behind the large shaded wooden deck / terrace. A gray range hood is located just inside the “cabin” above the countertop. An internal ventilation directs hot gasses and smokes directly to the chimney above the roof. The plus side here is, the industrial-style black vent is a subtle yet fabulous decoration in this home. Next to the kitchen, a long simple wooden dining table completed the interior. 3 wonderful suspension lamps with industrial style adorn the dining room in a row arrangement. There’s a living room with classy white sofa and black hanging fireplace. 3 pendant / suspension lamps with sphere, thick disk and curved tube shapes were used to decorate the living room. The exposed timber posts for this room are recycled solid hardwood. With the exposed recycled hardwood timber posts, paired rafters and scissor trusses. As a whole, this building is a contemporary interpretation of a country house. It is modern, natural and is very well designed to enjoy the views outside. Architect: Max Pritchard Architect. Ideas Stela Lucija, Friday, February 17th 2017, 11:23:54 AM. We just come across a cool tip of cleaning our house in a simple and encouraging way. This is not a boring clean all in a day that’s obviously tedious. We need to span the workload and make it a whole lot more balancing with out other daily duties. It would be doing some simple 20 minutes work every day to finally clean the entire house in just 30 days.Sure it involves daily tasks that we need to write on a blank calendar. Some core jobs you need to do frequently. Also, it is needed to reserve times when the task is lighter for more difficult jobs.We need to deal with what comes through the door since it is easily visible. It is important to clean the dishes after every meal or we can wait until another meal just to get overwhelmed. Also, we also need to dispose the trash the same way.We may need to do the laundry everyday too. Especially if we have a washer and dryer. We may need to whistle while we work, singing or turning up our stereo since those can make working fun.We need to set timer. Here are the list of jobs that can be done in 20 minutes so we need to set the timer between 5 to 10 minutes so anytime the alarm on, we know how much our times left. So, here the things we need to clean entire house.Kitchen and living room need to be cleaned. We need to put back stray things in their place. Floors and stairs are also need to be cleaned. At this moment, sweeping and using vacuum would be adequate. Other surfaces from other spaces in the house need to be cleaned every 4 day. These include rooms like bedroom or bathroom including the toilets or showers, plants decoration and the surfaces of walls and mirrors and additional room like basement. Deep clean these rooms twice a month. The “deep clean” means cleaning small items like mirrors, artworks and drawers. There, we also need to tidy the closets etc. All interior windows have to be cleaned once a month. Cleaning all door knobs, phones and entertainment equipment especially the remote controls. Things like switch plates, banisters and other things that are repeatedly touched need to be cleaned once a month. Clean up the refrigerators, taking stock of wood and organize pantry once a month. Cleaning the entryway, sweep porch and cleaning out our second home, cars once a month. And, sure, clean anything that haven’t. So, those are the list that we can do in 20 minutes although as mentioned before. We need to do some core jobs that have to be done monthly or weekly.
Home Designs Niklas Larsen, Thursday, February 16th 2017, 10:13:19 AM. The interior design is quite simple and clean. The modern interior design of this house is also done with wood accents, creating warmth interior. We would find some other interior photos of this home/villa since these pictures don’t reveal the real atmosphere in this house. There’s a bathroom photo with its wonderful wall. The white wall is accented with gray colors making the wall tiles look as marble. The bathroom vanity also is wonderful. The espresso color of the bathroom vanity looks as a great color accent in this minimalist bathroom. A kitchen also looks calm with its brown wood color. The kitchen looks simple with its stainless countertops and grey range hood. The cabinets are white and looks minimalist with the handle-less features. But at least, the Austrian architect Stephan Unger still do the family a justice by installing large floor to ceiling windows at each end of this house. It is a real sin for not capturing the amazing views of this location in Merano-Alto Adige, Italy. For the respect to the nature, the architect added some energy efficient features. Really exquisite!.

This cube wood forest house was built as a getaway for a family working in Tokyo. The beautiful modern exterior boasts a uniform wood façade interrupted only by the large windows with their diamond shape. Inside, this modern interior design is not as uniform as the exterior counterpart. It features labyrinth-shape / geometric walls with some opening toward the windows and the skylight above. The concept seemed like this home has a center opening that a person on the top floor can see the bottom floor. Or, natural light can illuminate the bottom floor from the top. Despite its geometric / labyrinth interior wall, the interior design as a whole is still minimalist.

The exposed woods look strong visually against the white ceilings. For other parts of the interior, the designs are simple and look clean like the furniture. There’s also a beautiful fireplace in the living room. This fireplace looks modern and sleek without any rustic feel. The similar modern feel can be found for the kitchen’s design.

And if you can get a teak wood kitchen set, the kitchen’s quality would be so adorable. Such kitchen would be solid and durable. The finish can be in dark brown color or in lighter shades. The countertop can be darker in color. A white marble counter would look elegant and cheerful. Darker colors like soapstone counter would make the kitchen looks a little bit more elegant. A butcher look countertop made of wood block would add charm in any kitchen interior. And, a simple laminate countertop can be inexpensive yet can be made with various patterns / styles.
