This minimalist white home is located on the outskirts of Leiria in Portugal. Due to its location, the property is located at the street level, under the plot in an intimate environment, the façade does not accommodate windows, instead, a huge void was created on the roof as a lighting stretegy. The result is quite effective, the minimalist interior is quite bright and airy allthough all private areas are protected from other people’s sights. Just as its minimalist exterior counterpart, the interior is also finished in white with some color accents that come from the wood flooring and furnishing. Architect: Manuel Aires Mateus.

The hutches are beautiful and other items are also wonderful. A gray dining room matches really well with its white painted hutches. The color combination is so elegant. This hutch is a wonderful and is a good example for a modern hutch and interior as well. The dining table is dark grey with similar color to the wall. The ceiling is white with some gold bowl decorations. A pendant lamp is amazing with its mosaic color and the garden behind the glass doors gives the dining room a relaxing ambiance.

A simple serene garden with spacious lawn welcomes the owners every day. The backyard is spacious and features a garden bed along with a big tree. The home also features large glass to invite the views inside. Large wooden terrace / decking was built with uninterrupted view to the landscape. The design of the wall / facade also is wonderful. The wooden wall was made with long vertical wood planks. The look of the home is so fabulous, modern and exudes warmth and welcoming ambiance. Another hot spot in this home would be the outdoor dining area. This area is shaded, covered by large roof and features a fireplace with stone wall around the fireplace. The design looks so comfy and serene.
Ideas Stela Lucija, Friday, February 17th 2017, 11:23:54 AM. We just come across a cool tip of cleaning our house in a simple and encouraging way. This is not a boring clean all in a day that’s obviously tedious. We need to span the workload and make it a whole lot more balancing with out other daily duties. It would be doing some simple 20 minutes work every day to finally clean the entire house in just 30 days.Sure it involves daily tasks that we need to write on a blank calendar. Some core jobs you need to do frequently. Also, it is needed to reserve times when the task is lighter for more difficult jobs.We need to deal with what comes through the door since it is easily visible. It is important to clean the dishes after every meal or we can wait until another meal just to get overwhelmed. Also, we also need to dispose the trash the same way.We may need to do the laundry everyday too. Especially if we have a washer and dryer. We may need to whistle while we work, singing or turning up our stereo since those can make working fun.We need to set timer. Here are the list of jobs that can be done in 20 minutes so we need to set the timer between 5 to 10 minutes so anytime the alarm on, we know how much our times left. So, here the things we need to clean entire house.Kitchen and living room need to be cleaned. We need to put back stray things in their place. Floors and stairs are also need to be cleaned. At this moment, sweeping and using vacuum would be adequate. Other surfaces from other spaces in the house need to be cleaned every 4 day. These include rooms like bedroom or bathroom including the toilets or showers, plants decoration and the surfaces of walls and mirrors and additional room like basement. Deep clean these rooms twice a month. The “deep clean” means cleaning small items like mirrors, artworks and drawers. There, we also need to tidy the closets etc. All interior windows have to be cleaned once a month. Cleaning all door knobs, phones and entertainment equipment especially the remote controls. Things like switch plates, banisters and other things that are repeatedly touched need to be cleaned once a month. Clean up the refrigerators, taking stock of wood and organize pantry once a month. Cleaning the entryway, sweep porch and cleaning out our second home, cars once a month. And, sure, clean anything that haven’t. So, those are the list that we can do in 20 minutes although as mentioned before. We need to do some core jobs that have to be done monthly or weekly.

This 2 levels / stories house on a slope with “underground” garage belongs to architects Frederico Zanelato of Frederico Zanelato Architects. The home is located in fresh and beautiful greenery near São Paulo, Brazil. This house was built to follow the slope terrain. But the architects reshaped most part of the ground creating a stratified, two-level ground before they built the house. At the main level is the garage, this garage is sheltered by the expanded and cantilevered main volume of the house which is built on the higher level of the ground.

The glasses only reveal the wooden walls behind while the rooms behind are quite covered. Inside, the interior looks “softer” in design. The wood inside this home boasts lighter wood colors and for the walls, with a beautiful pattern. The pattern of the wood wall in the dining room looks like a brick wall pattern, there, a white kitchen acts as a focal point. This kitchen looks minimalist and is quite small in size. This kitchen also is bright. A long horizontal window gives ample natural lights to the interior. Next to the kitchen is a little bit more rustic dining table and a long wooden bench. And, just a few ft away, a living room looks wonderful and comfortable. A glass clad fireplace looks luxurious. Instead of having a mantel, this fireplace looks “cleaner”. There, a wonderful table lamp and a mosaic wall art together with the geometric wall shelf also decorate the entire great room interior. This interior feels warmth yet intimate at once.
Kitchens Stela Lucija, Monday, February 13th 2017, 10:41:12 AM. A classic timeless kitchen would last for 2 generations. And if you can get a teak wood kitchen set, the kitchen’s quality would be so adorable. Such kitchen would be solid and durable. The finish can be in dark brown color or in lighter shades. The countertop can be darker in color. A white marble counter would look elegant and cheerful. Darker colors like soapstone counter would make the kitchen looks a little bit more elegant. A butcher look countertop made of wood block would add charm in any kitchen interior. And, a simple laminate countertop can be inexpensive yet can be made with various patterns / styles.
