Saturday, March 25th 2017, 11:15:53 AM Published at Niklas Larsen, Amazing Modern Open House Design in Raleigh, North Carolina Home Designs. The Family of art collectors John and Molly Chiles found this mid century house in terrible condition, but they also found that the steel structure of the mouse was still strong and decide to build a new, dramatic open-designed house based on the remain. The concept and the form of the new house provides open perches and shelter both for retreat for the family and the extensive art collections. The main level’s modern, open floor plan creates loft-like spaces in which low walls, area rugs, and mid-century modern furnishings loosely define boundaries between living room, dining room, office, kitchen, and breakfast area. This plan encourages movement through the various spaces and levels of the house. The roof garden combines elements that serve, both in form and reason, to counter the clearly defined steel structure and to evoke feelings of height and expansion. Because her house is sited halfway down a hillside and nestled in a stand of old-growth beech trees, Molly Chiles envisioned the roof deck as a large-scale “table on top of the house” where friends could gather for social occasions in a space with views across the treetops to the distant horizon. As a design/build firm, Tonic worked with a structural engineer and steel crafters to fabricate a striking spiral staircase that connects the main living level to the roof deck. Clipped onto the side of the house, the outdoor stair’s helical form stands in contrast to the grid-like steel structure.A gently curving driveway offers ever-changing vantage points to view the house’s exuberant form. A steel and ipe wood bridge spans a private walled garden and connects the drive to the front door. Project Name: Chiles Residence. Location: Raleigh, North Carolina. However, colors and texturing from the materials look so wonderful. Wood floor, black tiles and rough stone look blend in harmony. Living room dining room are made in open concept design and face the pool. A long comfortable sofa is created along the interior stone wall. Half part of the sofa is “inside” the interior while the other half seems to be “outside”.

Since you may want to spend more times indoor, you also want to add something stylish in your homes. The new decorations may be useful too for Christmas. Well, although the decor may not related directly to the Christmas but the decors still can make your interior more wonderful to look at.
Home Designs Adeline Soós, Tuesday, December 06th 2016, 10:21:06 AM. This house is located in a large 5000 m2 property surrounded by open landscape of golf fields and green areas. The site is blessed with beautiful Andes view and hot temperature during summer and winds from the south. The architect from 57studio designed the house with many peripheral walls and glasses. Both for clearing the views and to cover the house from high winds in the open landscape as well as providing some privacy to the owner. With a large land available, it is possible to place a swimming pool and the barbecue area at a distance from the main building. As well as the landscape of the environment, the garden of the home also has a lot of open spaces with no big tree in the garden. I must admit that the most fascinating aspect from the house for me is its spaciousness, from the garden to the kitchen. With the ample space available, it is possible to accommodate a large elegant kitchen with white finish and stainless steel kitchen essentials.

These objects are including vases, candle holders, bowls and other small decorations. They are made of glass, ceramic, wood and metal. They were designed to match the Venetian roots, former design from Luca Nichetto. In the design approach, the designer has always created a constant dialogue with the people involved in the physical process of production. But for us who just enjoy the final result of the design, we could always feel the same too because these designs are simply amazing.

This Lamps is very interesting, the Ukraine designer Igor Pinigin has designed this lamp not only to look beautiful but also has unique feature. At the bottom, this lamp is stabilized by glass ball that will stabilize the lamp at every angle without affecting the light. From the diagram, you could see that the glass balls maintain the center of gravity of this lamp at its bottom so you can lean it as you wish. You can also have various color option if you want too. Interior Designs Adeline Soós, Thursday, December 01st 2016, 09:40:26 AM. This is another very inspiring design from ong & ong Singapore I’m posting today. This modern home design is stunning, just like the apartment’s interior project from the same company. The large volume above the seating in front of the swimming pool gives the house an exceptional character. The wood facade is not only beautiful but also gives privacy to the occupants and providing view. The interior is also great with one plant inside the house and natural color combination of wood and light yellow walls. The swimming pool was designed beautifully with tropical plants, bamboo, making the pool more inviting in that hot tropical climate. The beautiful and modern design also presents in the living room with minimalist design style and modern furniture. Credits: Project: Sentosa Cove. Client: Optima Capital Pte Ltd. The examples would be the flowers addition for the classic brown kitchen or a beautiful red rug and curtain for the white kitchen. The rug and curtain are simple touches with an amazing visual impact to the interior.
