The natural-looking interior design is adorned with exposed wood for ceiling. Large glass windows with swivel type opening complement the minimalist living room. A brown leather sofa gets more comfortable to use since it faces the lake view directly. The U shaped kitchen also features similar glass windows, windows that are so large so they bring all the serenity of the lake inside. Even when the owner cook something and turn the burners on, there’s lake view from window just below the grey range hood. There, the kitchen is completed with a kitchen island with wine storage. Even though the house is not a prefab, this house is designed for easy assembly and dismantling including the wooden floor and façade while the parts are reusable. This house also features some “traditional” green features including passive solar PV cells and geothermal energy for cooling and heating. This house is in all senses, very interesting due to its unique see through design. The design of the house is simply metal beams which constructed to form a house’s frames and then enclosed with glasses in all sides and from the bottom to the top. We are not quite sure about the reason to build anything like this but we can see that one of the reasons is probably the view. Located on a slope with amazing city view like such, one will go for an open design which will flood the house with lights and views. For the owners of this house, such design might not enough so the architects at Werner Sobek built the house without walls inside, a perfect see through design. This 2706 sq feet “House R 128” is accessible by a bridge above the kitchen and the dining room. Photo credit: Roland Halbe and Josef Schulz, Stuttgart/Germany.

This slope house is a project that A-cero built with large marble travertine and special design of the front with black windows and enormous pergola. The architect then named it "fortress". The location of the house which is just at the front of a beach gives another impression in our perception about a fortress. The long curved walls in front of the house give not only beautiful look but also privacy to the owner while keeping the house design flows on the slight slope. The interior design is clean and sleek like any other modern home design. There are suspended table, library and one beautiful garden-faced room. This house is magnificent and beautiful. At the exterior, the color of the marble is so amazing. The stone looks so luxurious. Wonderful courtyards also were built outside. The architects have transformed the desert site into an oasis with pool and landscaping. This 35.000-square foot building is designed with Islamic Architectural Style. The obvious form is the canopy which forms a crescent moon, the symbol of new life that tops the minarets of Islam. Some of the building elements were chosen specifically for the desert environment. A pool that flows indoor and provides cooling has been built around the front fae. A moucharabie, the traditional lattice sunscreen filters direct sun. The present of the building as an oasis is also justified with gardens with fountains which are supplied with ample desalinated waters and shady courtyards. The executive architect for this project was Godwin Austen Johnson.

The program changed in building permits, the surface the contractors and even the view it captures. The result is a mix design between roof terrace and patio. The architect, Juan Pablo Corvalán of Supersudaka combined all architectural design resources possibilities to ease the challenge. It was important to make a home that can fill many functions and utilize its site in this Chilean central valley. At the center of the home is a glass box with view into the other rooms. The use of glass continues to the side of the home for the purpose to look out to the serene valley and lets the light in. The glass box also surrounds the stair to the ground level. The home’s exterior is decorated with wood that gives classic and natural look in its surrounding. The final touch is the roof deck which is linked down to a long ramp. ( a long ramp that surrounds the home ). The design makes the entire roof a usable space in warm weather. If you need more information, you could visit persudaka's site: supersudaka.cl/

Having a fire-prone environment in the Toro Canyon area has encouraged the owner to build a house with minimal natural resources for the building materials and opted for fire-resistant materials. But aside from the materials, this house is designed as an umbrella that sheltered the house from the sun while allowing breezes to move through the house. The second goal seems to build a house which captures the magnificent views of the surroundings. The vast ocean views are then framed through the floor to ceiling glass windows. This design gives the impression of modernist and ample natural lights. Unlike any other houses, this house is blended with the nature in more unique way. The toned concrete is probably common but the steel wall is allowed to oxidize. This is a different yet unique approach to make the oxidized steel wall looks blend with its environment because of its unique oxidized color and texture. This house is designed by Olson Kundig Architects. (olsonkundigarchitects.com).
