This structure probably is formed by a single wooden staircase plank made with 3 wooden supports at the ends and at the middle. This design matches and looks stunning combined with the spacing for the station’s wooden wall. Upstairs, the train station is a wonderful shelter for tourists wanting to continue the trip to the ski area over the mountains by using the cable cars. Architects: STGM Architectes. Still, home is a home and it just has to look as beautiful as possible, so the designers use some functional items with decorative function like the table in the living room or painting the kitchen with pink. Actually, pink is the most dominant color accent in this compact apartment. This apartment is also getting more beautiful with wood flooring and some other color accents like blue in the bath or brown in the bedroom. If you wonder on how to choose the right colors for small interior or how to design your compact apartment, this warmth apartment interior can be one of good examples. Casadiez.

One of the bedrooms also features red bars which are great color accent for the dark grey wall. And, instead of having all dark grey kitchen, the kitchen set comes in blue. This color is still dark yet is really inviting to look at. However, the pendant lamp above the round table is black and looks so elegant in glossy color. Photos: Graham Atkins Hughes.

With the owner’s blooming architecture and painting business and the growing son, came a time when the existing house/office didn’t provide enough space for the growing needs. But instead of moving into a new location, the owner, architect Craig Steely opted to reconfigure the existing house. The renovation was basically relocating the ‘public’ living spaces into the new level above the existing two levels. There were kitchen, dining and living room to relocate while the professional office for him and his painter wife is still located in the lower level.
