While it is wonderful to see the garden from the ground floor, through the glazing that opens onto a deck, the very high triangle roof with high large glass wall provides views of the sky and the moon at night. This very high roof is made of insulated metal that fits any climate, enhancing the comfort in enjoying the moonlight. Although designing such beautiful project is already admirable, this modern rough stone and glass house was also carefully designed to have minimal impact to the local vegetation. Interior Designs Adeline Soós, Monday, June 05th 2017, 09:57:04 AM. This 1.200-sq ft apartment interior design is pretty interesting. This 10.000 USD renovation project has resulted in dark coloring for almost anything inside this one room apartment like the floor, ceiling and furniture. But with those dark colors, the interior designers of Atelier Abigail Ahern still had to create some brighter accents in order to create an inviting atmosphere. So there, you could find the pink coffee table and other decorations in vibrant colors.

With the owner’s blooming architecture and painting business and the growing son, came a time when the existing house/office didn’t provide enough space for the growing needs. But instead of moving into a new location, the owner, architect Craig Steely opted to reconfigure the existing house. The renovation was basically relocating the ‘public’ living spaces into the new level above the existing two levels. There were kitchen, dining and living room to relocate while the professional office for him and his painter wife is still located in the lower level.

This kitchen island is so elegant and looks natural at once with its wood accent from its dining table. The design is sleek and the stools match nicely with its square style. The accessories for this kitchen as a whole are simply elegant and stylish. The pot rack is black and comes in long rectangular design. This pot rack would be a perfect storage for plate sets, cups and others. And there, just next to this pot rack, there’s a wonderful stainless steel range hood with simple yet elegant tube shape ready to direct the fume outside.

The given name for this upholstered sofa, the “Onkel” (Danish word for Uncle) should represent the inspiration that comes from the old days. Designed by Simon Legald has created the Onkel sofa for Normann Copenhagen, the cushion is inspired by the more fantastic 1950s-style upholstery. However, for the new world today, the back cushion is encapsulated with solid, plain-colored frame that has a firm expression. The materials chosen for this sofa create a dynamic effect with its cushion and frames, both the upper and the under frame. The entire sofa design is then matched and completed as a unity by giving the sofa the same coloring. Simon Legald. Normann Copenhagen.

There, there are some large skylights above the glass bridge too. The kitchen is natural, clutter free and is calm with its light brown color and dark grey countertop and light grey range hood. Other parts of the interiors are stylish and is accented with wood especially for the ceiling of the top floor. Architect: Metcalfe A&D. Photography by Barry Halkin. The “H2o” in the “Ski House H2o” may represent the passion of the house owners of water sport, namely water-skiing. The passion appears in the design of the house and its features. Firstly, they modified an existing artificial lake in the agricultural property they bough to be used for slalom course racing/water skiing. Secondly, this modern house features design that admires the artificial lake along with its surroundings. Located in Hobe Sound in Florida, the open design (especially at the upper transom windows) lets breezes in for cooling after passing the lake’s water and the lap pool. This design creates a passive air conditioning for the lake house. Moreover, the open design also captures the view of the surroundings. The house comes with spacious rooftop area enclosed by wonderful elegant and simple grey metal balustrade. There, the landscape and lake view.

Under this roof is a studio where the serene landscape surrounding may help to inspire the artworks. There, the interior of this studio is pretty clean in white wall color and is warmth with its wooden floor. Other part of the interior still boasts similar wall color and wood floor. The balcony, which eof the 2 house additions has, features balcony with dark grey wooden balustrade. The ambiance there is relaxing and looks wonderful since the balcony faces the treetops directly.
