The owners decided to keep the styling and the structure but also doubled the size of the new house with addition. The solution was then to replicate the structure of the beams and glulam posts. The new structure was then connected with steel plates of the existing building. The exterior of the building looks awesome. There is a large balcony with large stair to the wooden deck at ground floor. The deck is completed with dining table set and chairs and outdoor sofa.

The gable roof is sure the most interesting part of the exterior. But it is not just a design. The home actually consists of two houses in one house. The design has a purpose for giving a separated living space while maintaining a sense of privacy. From the design point of view, the home looks beautiful with its stone and minimalist wood façade. At the exterior, the driveway in the front of this home is also interesting. It is elevated above the ground level because of the slope terrain. Inside, the interiors are done in similar fashion. They interior features stone floors and wooden walls. And, the interiors also boast the similar minimalist style and similar cream and gray color combination. The interiors are also bright thanks to the large windows. These windows also capture the views of the home’s countryside neighborhood.
