This 2 levels / stories house on a slope with “underground” garage belongs to architects Frederico Zanelato of Frederico Zanelato Architects. The home is located in fresh and beautiful greenery near São Paulo, Brazil. This house was built to follow the slope terrain. But the architects reshaped most part of the ground creating a stratified, two-level ground before they built the house. At the main level is the garage, this garage is sheltered by the expanded and cantilevered main volume of the house which is built on the higher level of the ground.

This pool itself is built as the center of the garden. This pool is surrounded by some palms and other tropical trees. There’s a living room at the ground floor to enjoy this private treasure. The house’s design is also at the same beauty. The house has large sliding wood panels that could be opened or closed to give the garden’s view and fresh air to the rooms behind it. This semi outdoor living area is completed with accent red sofa. At the first floor, wooden sliding door slides to provide bedroom with serene ambiance of the garden.

It’s brighter, more colorful and obviously not a minimalist interior design like the exterior design counterpart. Light blue colors of the wall, chair and the couch play beautiful visual impact with timber flooring and furniture. And, also with the unique chessboard like rugs. Along with those color combination, the house decoration also use some red elements to give strong visual impact for some point of spaces. The design is in wonderful contrast with the low profile yet beautiful fireplace. This beautiful house belongs to Carol Richard.

It is off course, fits their taste and style. And for Sharon it is “something I’ve wanted to build for a while, totally different from the other projects.” For us it is also different than anything we have ever seen. Three different volumes with stunning black and white color and different shape for each volume is something that we will remember at the first sight. With the site overlooking a lush green valley, bringing the outdoors in is a must. Large windows and entry with sliding and pivoting glass doors are the main features for the task. The outdoor swimming pool that enclosed with transparent glass is also designed as a place to admire the nature. The sense of humor of the architect is shown by placing the red rabbit in front of the pool. It can be seen directly from the home when the owner or her guests admire the nature. The home is located in Byron Bay. Australia. photo credit: Richard Powers.

The water drop bubbles that emerge from the ceiling accompany the guest to the hotel’s spa. The shiny bubbles are made from plastic with chromium plated surface. The bubbles accompany the guest the same way as bubbles escape from the champagne bottle. The bubble decorations are going thicker and increase in number.

The metal wall facade is elegant in brown color with brick wall for lower part of the wall. Beautiful lighting and wonderful glass windows looks as beautiful accent for the exterior. The interior is rich in detail. Plush luxury rug spans in the living room. An elegant elliptical glass table sits gently on the rug accompanied by cube metal table. There, the living room also features a sphere suspension lamp. The backyard is elegant with its pool and wooden deck. Moreover, there are also wicker outdoor furniture and long sofa with colorful cushions covers. There’s no visible trace of the former office in this house. And, the more important thing is the house looks like what it should looks. This ia a beautiful and inviting house for the occupant and their guests. This house is located in Yorkville, Toronto, Canada.
