This amazing red and white sustainable house was designed by two students at Taliesin West, Jennifer Siegal and Victor Sidy. Their exceptional talents are represented in this beautiful house with its red and white facade. The built up area is 600 sq-feet and this modern dessert prefab can be assembled off site. This beautiful prefab sits on the steel column which doesn’t require a traditional foundation, an economical way to build a house. The sustainable features are including rainwater collection system, low energy fixtures, gray-water recycle system and PV cells. This house is also designed with sun orientation. Its open design enables the natural cooling for the house as well as provides views inside. This sleek, elegant prefab house comes with side entrance with wonderful simple concrete block steps. The terrace is located at one end enclosed by metal balustrade. The interior is minimalist. The fully functional kitchen is quite small and straight with the kitchen island at one end. I like the floating cabinetry concept making floor cleaning easy. A unique lighting concept is used there. Single lighting fixture is used along the prefab with lamps installed at needed spaces. If your plan today is building a modern prefab house, we believe that this Mod.fab is one of the best ideas out there. Photos credit: Bill Timmerman.

The material this lamp used is not transparent, translucent or anything that can glow easily. Instead, the designer Werner Aisslinger sliced the solid shade to (allow light to permeate) let the light lit and illuminate its surroundings. The lamp’s interior is painted in gold that looks as a good contrast with white or black lacquered finishes for the exterior. This lamp, the “Tree” lamp is also available in suspension model giving you more freedom in using this lamp. There are two sizes available, 55 cm and 65 cm diameters.

The way the discs are connected may looks chaotic but that’s resulting in a beautiful discs arrangement that looks fancy and stylish. The plywood finish doesn’t quite reveal its material identity since its bright color combination could looks “shiny” when the lights play on its surface. This colorful suspension lamp, the “Bau Pendant” was designed by Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt for Normann-Copenhagen. Photos: Dorte Krogh.

The lamp is available in various models. There’s table top model or ceiling mounted model. The table top lamp model features a clear glass curved leg that adds its beauty and contemporary look. In the interior, there are steps and stairs. Outside, the patio steps down slightly before reaching the border. There, the landscaping is so amazing. Pools are anywhere and the designs are so amazing. Garden beds also are anywhere as well. The plants however, seem were chosen with consideration of the entire landscaping. The details of anything are so awesome. The color of decorative beams, the flooring and even the colors of the flowers match really well. This landscaping looks luxurious, classy and so elegant. Take a look at the architecture design, the exterior, is there anything you don’t like? It’s so beautiful. The terrace, pergola, swimming pool and ponds. They blend very well with the stunning garden. Umm.. what else can I say, maybe about the interior. The color and materials combination look modern but also classic. It is a very beautiful combination of wood, flooring materials, wall color and furniture. The interior designer seems worked very hard for this as well as the landscape designer. Usually I don’t really like wooden interior because if it isn’t done correctly, the wood color would make the interior looks dark. But, this home’s interior is absolutely different. It’s bright and the wood material gives warmth and comfortable feeling. This is a very beautiful home in short. Perfect.
Home Designs Adeline Soós, Friday, December 30th 2016, 10:59:27 AM. What makes this house recyclable? Even though the house is not a prefab, this house is designed for easy assembly and dismantling including the wooden floor and façade while the parts are reusable. This house also features some “traditional” green features including passive solar PV cells and geothermal energy for cooling and heating. This house is in all senses, very interesting due to its unique see through design. The design of the house is simply metal beams which constructed to form a house’s frames and then enclosed with glasses in all sides and from the bottom to the top. We are not quite sure about the reason to build anything like this but we can see that one of the reasons is probably the view. Located on a slope with amazing city view like such, one will go for an open design which will flood the house with lights and views. For the owners of this house, such design might not enough so the architects at Werner Sobek built the house without walls inside, a perfect see through design. Home Designs Adeline Soós, Friday, December 30th 2016, 03:01:17 AM. The calm evergreen forest and the serene snow-mantled peaks are more than enough to draw people to come. But, having a beautiful house in this environment can be a real dream. And this dream comes true for the family as the architects at Eggleston Farkas Architects (eggfarkarch.com) built this stunning house. This Methow Cabin offers the beauty in simplicity. The simple flat lines of wood façade is raised on the stone base. The shed style house allows the snow to slide off the roof. This house is built parallel with the slope with the main façade facing the great peaks. The interior’s design is done in the same fashion. Timber is dominant material for walls and flooring giving the house a warmth and feeling of living inside the nature itself. The place where the house is built in Winthrop is a base for skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer.
