Having a romantic place to live may inspire the memories of childhood. Located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, the original mid-century kit house was built on a small valley which the surrounding lands are at the higher elevation. The house is like being built-on a small “valley” with its middle part is visible as a 3 floor home. The exterior of the house looks enchanting with the horizontal and vertical wall pattern and slanted roof. The wall is calm in a few gray color shades and has balconies with minimalist balustrade. The “H2o” in the “Ski House H2o” may represent the passion of the house owners of water sport, namely water-skiing. The passion appears in the design of the house and its features. Firstly, they modified an existing artificial lake in the agricultural property they bough to be used for slalom course racing/water skiing. Secondly, this modern house features design that admires the artificial lake along with its surroundings. Located in Hobe Sound in Florida, the open design (especially at the upper transom windows) lets breezes in for cooling after passing the lake’s water and the lap pool. This design creates a passive air conditioning for the lake house. Moreover, the open design also captures the view of the surroundings. The house comes with spacious rooftop area enclosed by wonderful elegant and simple grey metal balustrade. There, the landscape and lake view.

The social area of this modern forest house is shadowed by this third volume, this all-fresco living is connected seamlessly via the transparent walls, the temperate glass sliding panels that enclose the first floor / middle volume that make the forest visible at any time. While the construction was tried to be a process of assembling parts rather than a loco process, creating less waste at the building site, more agility and proper use of industrialized materials, the design as a whole tries to seamlessly connect the indoor with its serene outdoor spaces. Furniture Stela Lucija, Wednesday, June 21st 2017, 05:48:47 AM. This amazing modern furniture with strong ethnic, traditional touch by cappellini adapts a traditional craft technique from the far east, Vietnam. The orinal technique was of making bowls from paper thread that is rolled around sea grass. The designers at Glimpt studio have come out with this “Superheroes,” a super modern furniture that is also rich with ethnic, traditional touch. The thread however, is rolled around tubing and is attached to a metal frame in order to create this amazing furniture for Italian furniture brand, Cappellini. This “Superheroes” is, a very interesting lounge seating not only for its design. But it also carries a story for the manufacturing technique and the history behind it. Cappellini.

It also has two balconies to enjoy the views from a more private location. But here, we have more interior pictures than the exterior counterpart. This structure probably is formed by a single wooden staircase plank made with 3 wooden supports at the ends and at the middle. This design matches and looks stunning combined with the spacing for the station’s wooden wall. Upstairs, the train station is a wonderful shelter for tourists wanting to continue the trip to the ski area over the mountains by using the cable cars. Architects: STGM Architectes.
