Sunday, January 22nd 2017, 10:03:36 AM Published at Stela Lucija, Fascinating Inspirations on How to Re-Use Not Seaworthy Shipping Container as Sunset Observatory and Cliffside House Home Designs. This beautiful shipping container sunset observatory is raised in the harbor of Songdo New City in Incheon, South Korea. Composed of five shipping containers, this “OceanScope” stands beautifully with three different angles of 10, 30 and 50 degrees. Since the container shape is of cubical design, any attempt to flex the shape to make it visually flow and blend with the nature is usually difficult. So the AnL Studio wanted to focus on the designing of the container itself and to show others how the stiff steel building blocks could be attractive as well. These recycled shipping containers were planted firmly on solid concrete foundation and were installed with metal stairs. The beach visitor can walk inside and see three distinct views in every container with different angle. The cuts along the walls serve as viewing windows. There, the interior features 10’ slope and 30’ metal stair to the top. There are also 50’ mirror surface / seat and screen / projection. The interior itself is finished with wood board finish.

Furniture Stela Lucija, Wednesday, June 21st 2017, 05:48:47 AM. This cool, stylish sofa, couch design with doodling pattern by front for moroso – doodle is quite unusual in design. This leather sofa was designed by the Swedish design studio Front for Italian company Moroso. The design boasts a simple shape but this simplicity is what makes it interesting. It looks like just a flat circular board being folded into a chair shape. But, the curvature is strikingly modern yet full of classical touch. Adding more sensation, the surface is textured in a doodling-like pattern in 3D, a pattern that actually has been created by the team absentmindedly during their design meeting. An interesting design process that has resulted in this stylish, cool “Doodle” couch. Front. Moroso.

You could imagine that breeze from the garden would be fresh and relaxing. The living and dining rooms there are spacious and are completed with natural looking wooden furniture. There’s a long wooden dining table adorned with pendant lamp with black color and cone shape. The living room is completed with wicker chair, yellow armchair and comfortable sectional sofa. Also, there’s a large bookcase and TV wall unit that contains books enough to say that this space is a private library. The kitchen is located at one end with a little bit more private setting than the living room. Also, there’s a hanging round fireplace which its black chimney ends up above the roof at the outdoor roof seating area.

The interior as a whole, features simple line of design which looks different with its exterior with traditional Mallorcan design with curves. The main living room is amazing and comes with wooden accent and feels warmth and welcoming. The living room is spacious and has timeless style and colors of white, grey and brown combination. The master bedroom is a spacious one and comes with large glass and wooden doors with beach view. It is easy to see the mountains, the city and the beach view while on the bed. The interior design of this bedroom itself is pretty impressive yet calm with its neutral grey, white and brown colors combination.

Located at the bottom of the Le Massif de Charlevoix Mountain in Quebec, Canada, this train station functions as an access point for tourists visiting the great mountain. The train station building is built of locally harvested Tamarack wood that changes color overtime, integrating the building to its rural landscape. The natural lighting for the building is obtained in a satisfying way, the beautiful spacing for the wood at the admission brings both natural light and reflecting its rural architecture of the rustic barns and the timber structures. Built along the St. Lawrence River, the simplicity of the architecture design, the relationship of the scales and the river do make the train station integrates with its nature. It is a beautiful yet natural addition to its landscape.
