It is off course, fits their taste and style. And for Sharon it is “something I’ve wanted to build for a while, totally different from the other projects.” For us it is also different than anything we have ever seen. Three different volumes with stunning black and white color and different shape for each volume is something that we will remember at the first sight. With the site overlooking a lush green valley, bringing the outdoors in is a must. Large windows and entry with sliding and pivoting glass doors are the main features for the task. The outdoor swimming pool that enclosed with transparent glass is also designed as a place to admire the nature. The sense of humor of the architect is shown by placing the red rabbit in front of the pool. It can be seen directly from the home when the owner or her guests admire the nature. The home is located in Byron Bay. Australia. photo credit: Richard Powers.

The used of cement product for the home material is the way to honor the birthplace of American Portland Cement for the Architect Joseph N. Biondo. The blue and light gray exterior wall colors are interesting. The blue comes in two shades and in striped pattern for the upper level. This house looks stylish thanks to the geometric blue shades of the wall. The ground level grey concrete wall at the opposite looks solid. The home as a whole is calm and classy. Their exceptional talents are represented in this beautiful house with its red and white facade. The built up area is 600 sq-feet and this modern dessert prefab can be assembled off site. This beautiful prefab sits on the steel column which doesn’t require a traditional foundation, an economical way to build a house. The sustainable features are including rainwater collection system, low energy fixtures, gray-water recycle system and PV cells. This house is also designed with sun orientation. Its open design enables the natural cooling for the house as well as provides views inside. This sleek, elegant prefab house comes with side entrance with wonderful simple concrete block steps. The terrace is located at one end enclosed by metal balustrade. The interior is minimalist. The fully functional kitchen is quite small and straight with the kitchen island at one end. I like the floating cabinetry concept making floor cleaning easy. A unique lighting concept is used there. Single lighting fixture is used along the prefab with lamps installed at needed spaces. Recycling is now necessary in saving our world. So, any attempts should be valued as good contribution for our planet. These container boxes could be wasted if the Industrial Design lecture at Victoria University in Wellington Ross Stevens did not construct it. Three container were then stacked together to form a three level house. With dark coloring, this house is definitely stands out from its environment. The interesting part of the interior design is the designer preserves the original cliff inside the house next to the chair. This cliff seems have been cut but aesthetically. But this cliff just looks as if it is in original form. The other parts of the house are simple but beautiful. The modern kitchen is beautifully combined with simple furniture in the dining room nearby. There are dining table with built-in wooden benches and 2 armchairs. This kitchen / dining room is gray, calm and looks so relaxing.
