The modern interior design of this house is also done with wood accents, creating warmth interior. We would find some other interior photos of this home/villa since these pictures don’t reveal the real atmosphere in this house. There’s a bathroom photo with its wonderful wall. The white wall is accented with gray colors making the wall tiles look as marble. The bathroom vanity also is wonderful. The espresso color of the bathroom vanity looks as a great color accent in this minimalist bathroom. A kitchen also looks calm with its brown wood color. The kitchen looks simple with its stainless countertops and grey range hood. The cabinets are white and looks minimalist with the handle-less features. But at least, the Austrian architect Stephan Unger still do the family a justice by installing large floor to ceiling windows at each end of this house. It is a real sin for not capturing the amazing views of this location in Merano-Alto Adige, Italy. For the respect to the nature, the architect added some energy efficient features. Really exquisite!.

This cube wood forest house was built as a getaway for a family working in Tokyo. The beautiful modern exterior boasts a uniform wood façade interrupted only by the large windows with their diamond shape. Inside, this modern interior design is not as uniform as the exterior counterpart. It features labyrinth-shape / geometric walls with some opening toward the windows and the skylight above. The concept seemed like this home has a center opening that a person on the top floor can see the bottom floor. Or, natural light can illuminate the bottom floor from the top. Despite its geometric / labyrinth interior wall, the interior design as a whole is still minimalist.

The glasses only reveal the wooden walls behind while the rooms behind are quite covered. Inside, the interior looks “softer” in design. The wood inside this home boasts lighter wood colors and for the walls, with a beautiful pattern. The pattern of the wood wall in the dining room looks like a brick wall pattern, there, a white kitchen acts as a focal point. This kitchen looks minimalist and is quite small in size. This kitchen also is bright. A long horizontal window gives ample natural lights to the interior. Next to the kitchen is a little bit more rustic dining table and a long wooden bench. And, just a few ft away, a living room looks wonderful and comfortable. A glass clad fireplace looks luxurious. Instead of having a mantel, this fireplace looks “cleaner”. There, a wonderful table lamp and a mosaic wall art together with the geometric wall shelf also decorate the entire great room interior. This interior feels warmth yet intimate at once.

We can use chandelier above the kitchen island as well as pendant lamp(s) above the sink. Recessed ceiling lamp type is great and looks clean. However, decorative lighting would make the entire interior looks much better to look at. Moreover, if the kitchen is part of a great room, the styling for the lighting can be made different from other rooms. it is possible to use chandelier for the kitchen and pendant lamp for dining and living room.

We can use beautiful rug and wallpaper. Wallpapers or even wall decals can have similar visual effect to wall painting. We also can use rustic sliding barn door instead of using ordinary door. Moreover, making a bedroom beautiful could be done too by simply using beautiful bedding set.
