This house is stunning and inviting from the outside. There are two main volumes of the house that really interesting with its distinct shape. One volume is a simple cubical form while the second has an oblique, translucent roof. Both volumes have full height windows. The oblique roofed volume has bright interior thanks to its natural lighting. The front façade is made of wood and has interesting and elegant light brown colors. If that’s enough to draw you in then the double entry doors are waiting. This large door is shaded but looks small however since the both sides volumes are huge.
The modern interior design is done in the same theme, warmth and inviting but more colorful. One of the entrances has wonderful wooden deck flooring pathway shaded with canopy with black frames. The wooden interior is painted in red, honey, purple and blonde. The dining area has impressive textures for the wooden ceiling and wall. And there, there’s a stair made of minimalist wooden planks staircases. And once the owners climb the stair, the large glass wall and the forest view are waiting at one side of the wall. The modern kitchen is done in with strong black accents of the furniture and the black steel column. The kitchen has wooden cabinetry and is completed with elegant black soapstone countertop. And there, the kitchen island also comes in wood with black countertop and legs. The industrial-styled roof looks bright and is made of translucent canopy with black metal frames.
One bathroom for the house also is designed with something to remind us about wood. One bathroom has wood-look floor tiles and wall tiles and also is completed with floating glass vanity. Other bathroom comes with natural looking dark floor and decorative stone-look bathtub. The rest part of the room is done in neutral white coloring. There are some beautiful features for the house that match its forest surrounding. The backyard has cool cream patio and wooden stair that look so natural with its stone wall borders. Moreover, there’s a second level outdoor terrace which is cantilevered over the main entrance. This balcony is located above the outdoor living area and has better sight to the sloped landscape beyond. Quezada Architecture.
