This house was designed and built by brothers Brian Ojala and Aaron Ojala with Entasis Group, a Colorado-based design/build firm and is located in Evergreen of a foothills west of Denver, Colorado. At the first glance the house looks impeccable and blends with its nature thanks to the extensive use of stone walls, woods and its design. The house is characterized by its rounded stone wall that ends just before the main volumes of the house. The house was carefully built to take every advantage of the hilltop location and its views as well as the sun orientation.
The result is a house that has the views in virtually almost every room thanks to its glass cladding. The views also can be enjoyed at the living room and on the 30 feet cantilevered sky deck, the ultimate space for that purpose. The house also has some green features including the passive PV cells on its adaptable roof among the hydronic radiant floor system and reclaimed timbers.
This house also features some custom designs of all doors, trim, stone pattern, metal work, stair treads and stringers, handrails, siding, windows, counter tops, bathroom cabinetry, outdoor bridge, were all custom designed and built on site.
The front entrance of the house is claded with wood veneer in stylish light brown color. The front entrance is adorned with wooden pergola and stone tile wall with calm dark gray and brown colors. This stylish pergola is subtly yet beautifully supported by dark gray beams with round shape.
This modern home- features white interior wall with black color combination for the stair’s balustrade. The black color is an elegant combination to the white interior and also is used in the kitchen as the kitchen countertop.
Many parts of the floor are made in wood and bring somewhat warmth atmosphere. The living room has large brown sectional sofa made with lather covering. The table is modern in triangular shape and curved edges and the cushions are covered in green covering. And as for the rug, this living room is elegant with rug addition with black, brown and green elegant pattern.
One bedroom in this stone house is quite spacious in size and comes with calming decoration. The bed is made of wood in cool brown color. The rug is light grey and the bedroom is completed with light grey upholstered chairs and table set. The ambiance gets even more calming with the large glass wall with the surrounded treetops view.
One bathroom is this home also is spacious. The tiling for the floor and the bathtub surround is made of light grey ceramic tiles with calm and neutral style. The floating vanity is made of wood and comes with green countertop and large cabinets. The wall is completed with 2 large rectangular mirrors and the ceiling features wonderful, small glass ceiling lamps. The storage space is ample with large and tall green wardrobe. And besides calming, the bathroom is bright with its floor to ceiling glass wall with its garden view.
